In Sheila Nevin’s wonderful book, “You Don’t Look Your Age”, her friend and colleague, Meredith Wilson, had this “Advice for Women in a Male Dominated Workplace (by a Woman Who Knows)”

Meredith, former vice president at a leading women’s magazine was fired unceremoniously after 26 years and told by Human Resources to “vanish immediately”.  Ten rules were posted on every women’s bathroom door of the twenty-story building.  Sheila snagged a copy before they were all destroyed within minutes of their posting.
