Resume Writing

One or Two Pages?

The length of a resume has become a source of anxiety among job seekers. Generally, if you’ve worked for 10 years or less, one page should do it.  If you have more than 10 years experience, then it ought to be two pages long.  Notice the word generally. If you want to know what’s appropriate in your specific fields, ask. Talk to people you know in your field.  Also, contacted the human resources departments of the companies for which you’re interested in working and find out what they prefer.
